Personal Public Transport

For smaller smarter personalised transport systems in the future, robotic systems that have sensing technology to locate adjacent modules can use less space per person on the system than the personal motor car, as they distribute people to uniquely customised destinations that heavy rail can’t.

Perhaps even controlled by your smart phone address book, you can travel with friends as much as on your own, a sort of foursquare system of travel networking for the car share phenomenon that is capturing market share in cities across the globe.

Imagine not needing a licence, just a ticket as you pay per destination. That’s value!

Not so far fetched. Imagine the future by checking out the videos at Kiva Systems
